An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet OT-133 flamethrower tank in 1:72 scale from Mirage Hobby. The model represents the chemical (flamethrower) version derived from the T-26 light tank.
The OT-133 belonged to the family of Soviet chemical tanks built on the chassis of the T-26 model 1939. In place of a gun it carried a flamethrower, with which fortifications, machine gun nests and enemy infantry were destroyed. These specialized vehicles complemented the ordinary light tanks and were deployed to break resistance on well-defended sectors of the front.
In this scale, work with a sharp knife and a fine file, and glue the parts with thin cement for plastic. Spray the model with a primer before painting. The Soviet green will come into its own with lightened surfaces and a wash into the detail, and weathering and dust pigments will bring the running gear to life.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
