A decal sheet in 1:72 scale for captured T-34 tanks in German service, listed under the designation Pz.Kpfw T-34 747(r).
Responsibility details are not available.
The German army took captured Soviet T-34 tanks into its own units under the designation Pz.Kpfw T-34 747(r). So that its own soldiers and airmen would not mistake them for the enemy, they were given conspicuous crosses and other recognition markings, often in unusual places on the hull and the turret. It is exactly this combination of Soviet design and German markings that makes captured machines such a rewarding subject.
The sheet holds markings for rendering the tank in German service in 1:72 scale. You use it on an ordinary plastic T-34 kit, because the decals are not tied to the shape of the parts but to the surfaces of the hull and the turret. The extent of the sheet and the number of marking variants are given in the manufacturer's instructions, which you should also follow for the placing.
First coat the area under the decal with gloss varnish so that no bubbles form under the film. Cut the sheet into individual elements, not into groups. Before you soak the sheet, check in the instructions whether it is a self-adhesive version: a self-adhesive film that has been soaked is ruined, whereas a wet decal that has not been soaked can be soaked later. With the wet version the element is dipped in lukewarm water for a moment, left to stand on the paper and settled in place once it has slid off the backing.
The tank model, the paints, the varnishes and the decal softener are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
