Su-2 M-88B conversion parts with decals in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer AML — a resin set for building the standard production variant of the Soviet light bomber.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin set from the Czech manufacturer AML for kits of the Sukhoi Su-2 aircraft in 1:72 scale. It holds conversion parts for the variant with the M-88B engine and a decal sheet. The set is an accessory for a base kit, so you cannot build the model from it on its own.
The Sukhoi Su-2 was created at the end of the 1930s as a multi-purpose light bomber and reconnaissance aircraft with a crew of two. The standard production aircraft were powered by the two-row fourteen-cylinder M-88B radial, with which the type bore the main weight of the fighting in 1941 and 1942, carrying out daylight bombing attacks and reconnaissance, and its crews counted among the hardest worked in Soviet frontal aviation. It is this most widespread form of the aircraft that the set lets you render.
Before gluing, wash the remains of the mold release agent off the resin castings and remove the casting blocks with a fine saw. Join the parts with cyanoacrylate glue and fill the gaps around the engine cowling lightly. Settle the decals on a gloss base; a flat final coat then ties the whole marking in with the camouflage.
The set is an accessory; the base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
