Responsibility details are not available.
Decals in 1:72 scale for a model of the T-34/85 tank. The theme of the sheet is machines committed to the fighting for Berlin in the spring of 1945, that is at the very close of the war in Europe. Which particular vehicles the sheet covers and where each element goes is described in the instructions in the package.
The T-34/85 came out of the proven T-34 by fitting a larger three-man turret with an 85 mm gun. The commander could at last concentrate on directing the fight instead of working the weapon, and the tank kept its good mobility and its steeply sloped armor. At the close of the war it made up the backbone of the Soviet tank units, and it is in this form that it appears in photographs of street fighting.
With decal sheets of this kind the wet method is the usual one: cut the element out, put it in lukewarm water for a few seconds, let it stand and then slide it off the backing paper onto a dampened spot on the model. Blot off the excess water and let the element dry. It holds best on smooth gloss varnish and less silvering forms under it there; on a rough, textured surface a decal softener helps. Before you soak the sheet, check in the instructions whether it is a self-adhesive version, because a self-adhesive film that has been soaked is ruined.
The sheet will be useful to modelers who build Soviet vehicles in 1:72 scale and want to place a model in a particular time and place instead of the generic markings from the box. It also suits a diorama from the end of the war.
The package holds decals. The model, the paints, the varnish and the decal softener are not part of it, unless stated otherwise.
