A set of plastic figures in 1:72 scale from HäT Industrie. It represents Belgian carabinier bicyclists of the First World War period. The box contains 12 figures in four poses together with bicycles, molded in soft plastic. The figures are unpainted and intended for dioramas as well as tabletop games.
The Belgian carabinier bicyclists were a mobile infantry unit of the Belgian army that used folding bicycles to move quickly. They distinguished themselves during the defensive fighting of 1914. They were armed with rifles and formed a rapid-response and reconnaissance force with high mobility.
Soft plastic is harder to glue with ordinary cement for polystyrene, so use cyanoacrylate glue for the joints of the figures and the bicycles. We recommend a base coat of primer for better paint adhesion. Complement the dark green and khaki shades of the uniforms with shading using a wash and a dry brush.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
