First World War Jäger bicycle troops in 1:72 scale are a set of unassembled plastic figures of infantry on bicycles for dioramas and tabletop games.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set of plastic figures in 1:72 scale captures German Jäger (light) infantry of the First World War period equipped with bicycles. The box holds unpainted injection-molded parts for the figures and separate bicycles to be assembled. The figures suit bringing dioramas and battlefields to life as well as serving as units in tabletop war games.
The Jäger were elite light infantry, and bicycle detachments proved their worth among them for fast movement along the roads. The cyclists carried standard infantry gear and performed reconnaissance as well as dismounted combat duties. The set captures that role in typical period uniforms and postures.
Carefully separate the small parts from the sprue gates and clean up the flash. On the thin plastic use a thin model cement. We recommend a base coat underneath and then an airbrush or a brush; the small details of the uniforms come out after a darker accenting coat is laid into the recesses. The bicycles look convincing with the spokes picked out lightly.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
