This injection-molded plastic kit captures the French AMX-30 B main battle tank in 1:35 scale. The package contains hard plastic parts, clear parts, photo-etched details and individual track links. The suspension is fully working, including the torsion bars and the shock absorbers, and an assembly jig is enclosed to make building the tracks easier.
The AMX-30 was a French second-generation main battle tank and the AMX-30 B was its first production form. The design gave priority to low weight and mobility over the strength of the armor. The vehicle carried a 105 mm gun and a coaxial 20 mm automatic cannon usable against slow-flying targets.
Make use of the assembly jig enclosed for the individual track links. Assemble the working suspension carefully so that it stays movable. Glue the plastic with liquid modeling cement, apply a primer and spray with an airbrush. You can bring out the relief with washes and pigments for dust effects.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
