Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet Yak-1 fighter in the mod. 1942 version in 1:72 scale from Brengun. The box contains plastic sprues, photo-etched parts, resin parts, clear parts and decals. The model is built from individual parts and is intended to be glued and painted.
The Yak-1 was a Soviet single-seat fighter from the Yakovlev design bureau, one of the basic types of the Soviet Air Force in the first half of the Second World War. The 1942 version brought a series of changes reflecting wartime experience. The machine became the basis of the whole successful Yak family of fighters.
Glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue, and first wash the resin parts to remove any residue of the mold release agent and cut off the casting blocks. Work up the cockpit before closing the fuselage. Use a thin cement on the plastic, apply a primer before painting and spray with an airbrush, and finish the weathering with washes.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
