This is a finished collector model of the Soviet Yakovlev Yak-3 fighter in 1:72 scale from Easy Model. The model carries the color scheme and the markings of the 1st Guards Fighter Division of 1945. It is factory-assembled and hand-painted, so once unpacked you place it straight into a display case.
The Yak-3 was a single-seat Soviet fighter with a liquid-cooled V12 engine, one of the lightest and most agile fighters of the Second World War. It excelled in maneuvering combat at low and medium altitudes and was among the favorite machines of the closing stages of the war. It was deployed above all as a frontline fighter.
The model has the cockpit, the landing gear and the canopy worked out and tends to be supplied with a base. The color scheme and the markings match the chosen real subject. The surface is weathered at the factory and looks realistic even without further work.
The model is supplied assembled and painted, ready for display. It is not meant for building or gluing.
