Fokker D.VII vs. SPAD XIII in 1:144 is a set of two plastic kits in one package that lets you build opponents from the air combats of the First World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of injection-molded plastic kits in 1:144 scale from a Czech maker. One package holds both of the famous opponents of the closing stage of the First World War, so you can build a pair of German and Allied fighter biplanes. The package contains decals for both subjects.
The Fokker D.VII was one of the best German fighters of 1918, valued for its handling and stability. The French SPAD XIII, on the other hand, was a fast and sturdy fighter on which a number of Allied aces scored. Built side by side, they show clearly how differently the two sides approached design.
In 1:144 scale the parts are very small, so work with a sharp knife and clean the joints up well. The interplane struts and fine edges call for care. Handle the camouflage and markings with the decals; lay on a gloss varnish before applying them and remove any flash from the joints in advance.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
