Responsibility details are not available.
A very light gray shade of the US Navy from the Lifecolor acrylic range. The designation after the name of the shade comes from the period system of US Navy designations and the maker gives it unchanged. The paint is acrylic, water-based.
Highest on the ship, the lightest tone
In the lightness series of the American naval grays this shade stands at the light end. It finds use where an area is meant to merge with the sky: the upper levels of the superstructures, the tops of masts, radar masts and other elements that the observer sees against the sky. In schemes that worked with a light gray over whole areas it can cover a larger part of the vertical surfaces of the hull as well. The horizontal surfaces stay out of it: the decks and the tops of the superstructures have colors of their own, or the ship would shine when seen from a height.
For builders of American ships who take graded gray seriously and want genuinely three or four levels of lightness on a model, not one color for everything. It will also serve modelers who accentuate edges and protrusions with a light gray in large scales.
Keep out of the reach of children, work with good ventilation and close the container carefully after use.
