A plastic kit of the German Tiger I heavy tank in the late production (final) version in 1:76 scale from Fujimi, out of their small-format military range. The model is tied to the PzAbt.301 battalion and is a small, uncluttered armor kit suited to dioramas as well as to a quick build.
The Tiger I was a German heavy tank of the Second World War, armed with an 88 mm gun and protected by thick armor. The late production version differed from the early machines in a number of details, for example in its steel road wheels. The PzAbt.301 battalion was one of the radio-controlled equipment units deployed in the later phase of the war.
A small armor model rewards careful cleanup and liquid cement for plastic. Finish the running gear before you fit the fenders. Late German Tigers are often depicted with a Zimmerit coating, three-tone camouflage, a wash and dust pigments for a faithful patina.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
