This set brings a collection of photo-etched and add-on parts for a model of the legendary American vehicle Jeep Willys MB in 1:24 scale. The maker is the Polish brand Aber, which specializes in fine photo-etched accessories and metal parts. This is not a model of the vehicle but a detail accessory that replaces and refines the features that are rendered only in a simplified way in a plastic kit.
The Willys MB was the universal light off-road vehicle of the Allies in the Second World War and became the forerunner of the later civilian Jeeps. The photo-etched parts make it possible to replace thick plastic features with thin and sharp details, such as grab handles, grilles, clips and small fittings. The result is a noticeably truer and finer model.
Bend the photo-etched parts on a bending tool or along a ruler, glue them with cyanoacrylate and give the whole vehicle a primer before painting. Proceed according to the enclosed instructions and cut the parts off only right before fitting, so that they do not get lost.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
