A finished instrument panel, rendered in color at the factory, for a model of the RWD-14 Czapla observation and liaison aircraft in 1:32 scale. It is an accessory for building a model, not a kit and not a decal.
The RWD-14 Czapla is a Polish strut-braced high-wing monoplane with fixed landing gear, designed for observation and liaison flights. The structure is of conventional mixed construction, the cabin is glazed and the crew numbered two, and it is precisely the large glazing that makes the instrument panel an element impossible to hide on a finished model. In 1:32 scale the whole cockpit area is easy to take in both from above and from the side.
Before gluing, try the panel dry and, if need be, sand away the molded-in relief of the instruments on the plastic part so that the panel seats flat. Glue it in spots with thick or gel cyanoacrylate; the thin kind releases fumes that will fog the dial glazing. Solvent cements for plastic would attack the factory color of the panel, so avoid them. Finish the cockpit so that the dials stay gloss; matte varnish over them wipes away the impression of glass.
The manufacturer makes a panel for the same type in a smaller scale as well, so go by the scale of your model when choosing. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
