A small plastic kit of the German light tank Panzer II in 1:100 scale from Zvezda. Models of this range are conceived as easy, and the parts are usually designed to click together (snap-fit) with no need for glue, so even a beginner can manage them. The low parts count and the small size make them a popular choice for tabletop games as well as for a quick build for a collection.
The Pz.Kpfw. II was a German light tank developed in the second half of the 1930s. It was armed with a 20 mm automatic cannon and a machine gun. In the early part of the Second World War it was among the most widespread types in the German armored forces and it also served as a reconnaissance vehicle and as the basis for a range of derived designs.
Thanks to the small scale the model goes together quickly. The joints can be secured with a drop of cement for plastic to be safe. We recommend a primer, the base color sprayed on and the details brought out with a wash and a dry brush; the tracks and running gear come to life nicely with dust pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
