A plastic kit of the German heavy tank destroyer Jagdtiger (Sd.Kfz.186) in the small 1:100 scale from Zvezda. This model from the gaming line is conceived as a simple, quick build with a low part count, suitable for tabletop wargames too.
The Jagdtiger was the heaviest series-produced tank destroyer of the Second World War. On a chassis derived from the Tiger II it carried a massive 128 mm gun in a fixed superstructure and very heavy frontal armor. It was deployed in small numbers at the end of the war; it excelled in firepower but suffered from great weight and unreliability.
Thanks to the small scale the build is undemanding and quick. We recommend evening out the surface with a primer and using the shades of late German camouflage; a small model looks its best with a fine wash in the recesses and a light dry brush over the edges. Assemble the running gear before finishing the hull.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
