Responsibility details are not available.
A kit of the Soviet T-26 light tank in the 1933 version from the manufacturer Zvezda. The small 1:100 scale belongs to a range conceived for wargames (the Art of Tactic system), and thanks to the small number of precisely fitting parts the build is quick and even a complete beginner will manage it.
The T-26 was based on a license of the British Vickers 6-Ton type and became the most numerous Soviet tank of the 1930s. The 1933 version received a cylindrical turret with a 45 mm gun, which markedly increased its firepower against armored targets. The type went through the Spanish Civil War, the fighting against Japan, the Winter War with Finland and the opening phase of the fighting in 1941, where it was already growing obsolete against more modern machines.
A small scale is forgiving: the basis is a uniform protective green, which in this scale should be lightened so that the model does not look dark. The details are brought out by a fine dark wash in the recesses and by a dry brush in a lighter shade over the edges and the rivets. Treat the tracks in a dark gray brown with a metal rub over the raised surfaces.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
