A plastic snap-fit kit of the Soviet T-60 light tank in 1:100 scale from Zvezda. The model goes together without glue and is part of the Art of Tactic tabletop game system. The package holds an unassembled model of the tank and a game card with a unit flag. The small scale makes it easier to build up numerous tank formations.
The T-60 was a Soviet light tank from the start of the Second World War. It came about as a machine that was simple and cheap to produce, meant to fill out the ranks of the Red Army in the critical period of 1941 and 1942. It was armed with a 20 mm cannon and a machine gun; its chief merit was undemanding production and mobility, not armor or firepower.
Separate the parts carefully and join them, strengthening them with cement for plastic if you wish. Lay the base on with an airbrush in green shades; the fine detail of the turret and the running gear will stand out after a wash into the recesses and dry-brushing on the edges. Dust and mud pigments will complete the combat look of the tank.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
