A small resin model of the Czechoslovak infantry casemate N-S 82 Brezinka of the heavy fortifications, in 1:1000 scale, from the Czech maker ROP o.s. It is a collector's model of a real fortification work, not a vehicle kit or a figure. The small scale makes it suitable for a collection of fortification works or as an element of a larger whole depicting a defensive line.
N-S 82 Brezinka is an isolated two-sided, two-story infantry casemate of the heavy fortifications, built in 1937 in the sector near Nachod as part of the pre-war Czechoslovak fortifications. The work is set into a slope and is therefore stepped in its construction; after the war it was carefully restored to its 1938 condition and it ranks among the best restored works of the Czechoslovak heavy fortifications.
First wash the resin parts free of mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces (with respiratory protection). They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The concrete surface comes into its own after painting in gray shades, with dark shading in the recesses and a light dusting of pigments; the surrounding terrain can be filled out with static grass.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
