A set of detailing parts in 1:12 scale for a model of the Kawasaki ZX-10R motorcycle of the 2010 model year. An accessory to a kit, not a model in its own right.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Kawasaki ZX-10R is a sports motorcycle and the 2010 designation in the name refers to a particular model year of the real subject. Motorcycle models in 1:12 scale have the disadvantage that everything is visible on them: the frame, the brakes and the routing of the cables stay exposed from every side. Sets of detailing parts are therefore aimed precisely at the places where a finished plastic part is too coarse for the given scale.
This is a supplementary set for a kit of a motorcycle in 1:12 scale. The extent of the set, that is, which parts of the model it replaces and completes, and what materials the individual parts are made of, you will find in the manufacturer's instructions. Check there as well which kit the set is cut for, because the name does not determine that and the shapes of the parts follow a particular model.
First lay the parts in place dry and check exactly where they seat and what has to be taken off the model. Cut surplus material off with a sharp blade a little way from the part and sand the remainder down. Before painting, wash and degrease the surface, so that the paint holds. The manner of attachment and the recommended glue are given in the manufacturer's instructions; with supplementary parts super glue is the more usual choice than a cement for plastic models. Apply the paint in thin coats, so that the small shapes are not lost under the application.
The set belongs to a more experienced modeler who builds motorcycles in 1:12 scale and wants detail on the model that will not come out of the kit by itself. The kit itself, paints and glue are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
