A detailed accessory front fork set for the model of the racing motorcycle Kawasaki Ninja ZX-RR in 1:12 scale from Tamiya. It is not a whole motorcycle or a motorcycle kit — it is an upgrade set of metal and plastic parts, which replaces the plastic fork of the base model and raises the realism of both the front and the rear end. The set is intended for the particular Ninja ZX-RR model in the matching scale.
The set brings metal parts such as the outer fork tube, the fork crown and the reservoirs in gold anodized aluminum, complemented by a yellow metal spring for the rear shock absorber. It also contains steering parts and a steering damper, which the basic kit does not have. Metal gives the suspension a convincing look that paint on plastic cannot achieve.
Before building, check that the set matches your version of the Ninja ZX-RR model. Deburr the metal parts and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate), and the plastic joints with liquid cement for plastic. Work with tweezers and with a light touch, because the parts are small. Leave the anodized and plated surfaces in their metal shade; only a discreet patina in the recesses will finish them off.
This is an accessory detail set for the front fork. The motorcycle model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
