This is a resin detail accessory from the maker Quickboost, not an aircraft model. The set brings a more truly rendered armor plate placed by the cockpit, which replaces the simpler plastic part from the base kit. Intended for models of the Soviet Sukhoi Su-25 Frogfoot ground attack aircraft in 1:48 scale.
The Sukhoi Su-25, NATO reporting name Frogfoot, is a ground attack aircraft for close support of ground forces, marked by exceptionally heavy armor around the pilot's cockpit. The armor elements by the canopy are among its characteristic features, so rendering them truly shows on a model, especially with the canopy open.
Separate the part carefully from the casting block and clean the surfaces up. Wash and degrease the resin before gluing. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Fit it so that the plate lines up with the surrounding parts of the cockpit; it is a good idea to try it dry first.
This is an accessory intended for further work. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
