Brengun 1:144 Alpha Jet vacuum-formed canopy is an accessory to a kit you have already bought, not an airplane model. It replaces the thick-walled clear part from the box with a thin, optically cleaner canopy.

A clear cockpit canopy vacuum-drawn from thin film, intended for a model of the Alpha Jet trainer and light attack aircraft in 1:144 scale. It is cut for one particular kit, the Revell one, and serves as a replacement for that kit's clear part. On its own it is not a model; it is bought to go with a base kit you already have at home.
The Alpha Jet is a twin-engine subsonic aircraft that came out of French and German cooperation and entered service in the late 1970s. It flies with a two-seat tandem cockpit and was built in two main lines: as an advanced trainer and as a light attack and reconnaissance aircraft. The long glazed canopy over both seats is its most conspicuous feature and on a model in a small scale it gives away every inaccuracy.
An injected clear part has a thick wall, it distorts optically around the edges and in 1:144 scale it looks like bottle glass. A vacuum-drawn piece has a wall only a fraction of that thickness, so the cockpit looks bright and can be seen into. The procedure is as follows: trace the outline first with a fine alcohol marker, cut it out roughly with scissors leaving a margin, and only then sand the seating edge down on abrasive paper laid on a flat board. Test the fit dry as you go, as material can only be taken off once. Do not touch the film with your fingers, as grease is hard to remove from it. It is glued with a colorless cement for glazing or with thin white glue; super glue cannot be used, as its fumes will haze the surface.
This is an accessory to a model, not a kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
