About product

Peewit painting masks — Beaufighter Mk.I/VI, 1:144

A set of die-cut self-adhesive painting masks in 1:144 scale for the British Bristol Beaufighter twin-engine heavy fighter and night fighter in the Mk.I and Mk.VI versions. The masks follow the frames of the canopy glazing exactly and serve for spraying cleanly without paint running onto the clear parts.

Use

  • Lift the masks off carefully and lay them on the frames of the canopy glazing.
  • Press them down so that they seat, and then spray the frames with an airbrush.
  • Once the paint has dried, lift the masks off and you have sharp, clean edges.
  • In the small 1:144 scale they make work with the tiny glazing especially easier.

Who they are for

For modelers who want a perfectly sprayed cockpit even in a small scale, without the labor of cutting masks by hand. The masks are an accessory in their own right, not a model.

This is not a kit. The set contains only painting masks; the model of the aircraft itself and the paints are not included.
