An injection-molded plastic kit of the Boeing 737 Colombian Air Force airliner in 1:144 scale from Academy: a jet airliner in military service as a model for collectors.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is an injection-molded plastic kit of the Boeing 737 jet airliner in 1:144 scale from Academy. The box offers the aircraft in the unusual guise of military service, with markings for the Colombian Air Force. The model has finely engraved panel lines and clear parts for the flight deck and cabin windows, and it is meant as a display piece for collectors of civil and military-operated transport aircraft. Check the exact number of parts and the full list of markings on the box itself.
The Boeing 737 is the most widely used jet airliner in the world. Its short and medium range, its pair of engines slung under the wing and its reliable structure made it the backbone of airlines and of many state and military flights. Aircraft in air force service tend to be used for carrying personnel, for government flights and for logistics; the Colombian Air Force operated a 737 adapted for transport duties.
Sand the fuselage joints and the wing roots thoroughly, as the smooth surfaces of an airliner reveal every imperfection. Glue with liquid cement for plastic and mask the flight deck glazing so that it stays clear. Spray the white and gray areas with an airbrush over primer in thin coats. Settle the decals on gloss varnish and seal them with a satin or matte coat according to the original.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
