An injection-molded plastic kit of the French Dewoitine D.520 fighter in the miniature 1:144 scale by Brengun. This edition focuses on the foreign operators of the type and offers the matching decals. The small but detailed kit contains plastic parts, a clear part for the canopy and a decal sheet.
The Dewoitine D.520 was the best performing French production fighter at the time of the fall of France in 1940, powered by a Hispano-Suiza V12 engine and armed with a cannon firing through the propeller hub. After 1940 the machines also reached other users outside France, where they served in different camouflage schemes and with their own markings.
In 1:144 scale handle the small parts carefully, use tweezers and thin cement for plastic in a minimal amount. Apply the paints and the primer thinly with an airbrush so that the fine detail is not lost. Prepare the different camouflage schemes of the foreign operators in advance, and apply a gloss varnish before the decals.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
