Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the British biplane fighter Gloster Gladiator Mk.I in the small 1:144 scale from the Czech manufacturer Mark I Models. The set is molded in gray plastic with engraved panel lines, contains a clear part for the canopy and a resin two-blade propeller. The decal sheet offers four marking options.
The Gloster Gladiator was the last British biplane fighter, which grew out of the development of the Gauntlet. It was a single-seat aircraft of mixed metal and fabric construction with fixed landing gear and a Bristol Mercury radial engine. It entered service in the second half of the 1930s and, despite its outdated concept, took part in the fighting at the start of the Second World War.
In 1:144 scale the parts are tiny and on a biplane the dihedral and the rigging are demanding, so count on tweezers, a sharp knife and a dry test fit. Glue the plastic with thin cement, and wash the resin propeller and glue it with cyanoacrylate glue. A primer under the paint, an airbrush with a fine spray and weathering restrained in proportion to the scale are all recommended.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
