This is a resin detail set, not a kit of the vehicle. The package contains cast wheels with snow chains and a spare wheel, finished as so-called weighted wheels, with a realistic flattening at the contact patch on the road. The set is intended for a model of the Jeep Willys field car in 1:16 scale.
Weighted wheels give the model the impression of the real mass of a standing vehicle, and the chains fitted evoke winter or off-road service. The detail of the casting is far ahead of the basic plastic or rubber parts.
Wash the mold release residue off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways while sanding. Painting the wheels and adding mud and dust effects is advisable.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
