The subject is a patrol of the Police of the Czech Republic, that is of the present-day Czech police force. A present-day civilian subject allows a scene to be built that a customer knows from the street, and it also suits places where a figure is to complete a collection of models of police vehicles.
The 1:16 scale is a large format among figures. A figure around 175 cm tall in reality corresponds in it to roughly 11 cm, so the finished figure stands up even on its own on a shelf. The larger areas of the clothing are more comfortable to paint with a brush as well as an airbrush and there is room on them for the soft transitions that have nowhere to show in small scales.
Cut off the excess material with a sharp blade a little way from the part and sand the remainder carefully, so that the shape is not disturbed. Before painting, wash and degrease the parts, otherwise the paint may not hold.
The figures will be appreciated by collectors of large scales and by builders of scenes to go with models in 1:16 scale. Paints, glue, a base and scene accessories are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
