The printed resin figure 1:16 Stalker With Guitar from the Spalah brand captures a seated explorer of the zone at a small campfire.
Responsibility details are not available.
A three-dimensionally printed resin figure from the Ukrainian brand Spalah. It captures an explorer at rest, sitting cross-legged and playing an acoustic guitar: a hood thrown over a knitted cap, a scarf across the face, straps and pouches on the chest, a backpack on the back. The casting also includes a piece of ground with a fire of stacked logs and with paving of stones, so the figure forms a small scene straight away.
First wash the casting in lukewarm water with detergent, so that the remains from printing disappear from the surface, otherwise the paint does not hold. Cut the supports off with a sharp blade and sand their marks down with fine paper, best of all wet and with protection of the airways. Bond the joints with super glue; solvent cement for plastic does not work here. Apply a thin coat of primer before painting. Textiles and worn leather come out best after a dry brush and dark emphasis of the folds.
For figure modelers and collectors who will value a non-combat, quiet scene in a large scale. The 1:16 scale gives the face, the gear and the instrument enough room for fine shading.
The casting arrives unassembled and without paint; the ground with the fire is part of it, paints and glue are not.
