Hobby Design 1:18 tires for the Novitec Rosso wheels on a Ferrari F12 replace the production rubber on a large scale model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This Hobby Design package consists of tires cut for the Novitec Rosso rims on a Ferrari F12 model. They serve as a replacement for the rubber on finished models, which tends to be hard, too glossy or simplified in shape. Once they are swapped, the car sits on its wheels more naturally and the sidewall matches the shape a real tire takes under load more closely.
The Ferrari F12berlinetta was built from 2012 and replaced the 599. A front-mounted 6.3-liter V12 sent its power to the rear axle through a rear-mounted dual-clutch transmission, which evened out the weight distribution between the axles. The German tuner Novitec prepares a program of its own for the brand's cars under the name Rosso, with lightweight wheels and reworked aerodynamics.
Pull the old rubber off the rim slowly and evenly, so that no pressure marks are left on it. The new ones go on more easily if you hold them in lukewarm water for a moment. Leave the sidewall matte, because a glossy surface looks unnatural on a scale model. If you want to add sidewall lettering, use thin decals and apply them to a degreased surface, otherwise the edge of the carrier will show. It is a good idea to flatten the contact patch slightly before setting the car on its base.
