A set of color 3D decals for detailing the cockpit of the two-seat F-16F in the Block 60 version in 1:48 scale. The decals have a relief and are already colored, so on the plastic interior parts they replace the slow painting of instruments. It is not an aircraft kit but an accessory that is glued onto the parts of the model. The target kit is Kinetic.
Block 60 is the most extensively reworked version of the F-16 Fighting Falcon, built for the United Arab Emirates. Compared with older Blocks it received a more powerful General Electric F110-GE-132 engine, a radar with electronic beam steering and conformal fuel tanks on the fuselage spine, which increased the range without hanging further tanks under the wing. The designation F-16F belongs to the two-seat variant with two seats in tandem; the single-seat version carries the designation F-16E. The cockpits of the two versions differ, and the two-seat machine has its own front and rear station.
Degrease the surface and free it of dust; the decals hold best on a smooth surface. Soak the decal in lukewarm water, let it release from the carrier, slide it into place and tune the position with a soft brush. Blot the excess water away and let the part dry thoroughly. Use a softener sparingly and in small doses so that the relief stays intact. Finish the whole interior before you glue the fuselage together.
