Chameleon Gold-Green is a chameleon shade from Mr.Paint out of the automotive range, which shifts between a gold and a green tone according to the angle of view. It is a lacquer-type paint prepared for an airbrush.
Responsibility details are not available.
A paint with the effect of the so-called chameleon, that is, with a pigment that changes the perceived shade according to the angle of view and the lighting. With this shade it moves, according to the name, between gold and green. It is not a covering paint in the ordinary sense - the resulting impression stands and falls with the base it is applied onto and with how much light is reflected from the model.
Careful with the chemistry. The Mr.Paint ranges without the Aqua marking are not acrylics but lacquer-type paints. They are not thinned with water or with an acrylic thinner, but with a thinner of the same lacquer range. Mixing them with acrylics or topping them up with an acrylic thinner does not pay off; the result tends to be a curdled paint and a clogged airbrush.
For modelers of automobiles, motorcycles and all models where the paintwork is to carry the main effect, and for builders of figures and fantasy themes who work with color shifts. An airbrush, a compressor and experience of working with lacquer paints are assumed. A beginner who so far sprays only acrylics should reckon with a different thinner and different demands on the protection of the airways.
A flammable liquid with solvents. Work in a ventilated space or in an extraction booth, use a respirator and protect the paint from fire and heat.
