A set of rubber for a car build that the name ties to a wheel size of 20 inches. At Yokohama the Neova family belongs among the road tires with a markedly sporting tune, so it suits builds of modern cars with a lowered chassis. It is not a kit but a partial accessory.
The Neova is a line meant for the road, but with abilities that hold up off it too. A large continuous area of tread and a small number of grooves are typical of it, so on a model it looks fuller than ordinary touring rubber. The low profile of the sidewall at the same time brings out the rim itself, which on large wheels is the main carrier of the look. The family has been in the brand's range for a long time and has been through several generations, so the pattern has changed over time.
Large-diameter rubber tends to be harder to fit, so try the part dry first and level the edge of the bead seat lightly if need be. Leave the surface matte and bring the sidewall to life with a lighter hint, so that it is set apart from the dark tread. On models for display it proves itself to leave the tread clean with no patina. On a large wheel the sidewall is so low that any unevenness of the edge is visible at first sight.
