A detailed injection-molded plastic model of the Lancia Delta S4 rally special in the version from the 1986 Monte Carlo Rally, in 1:24 scale from Nunu Models. The kit captures the car's aggressive bodyshell with removable panels, full front suspension, an opening hood and a complete engine with the rear suspension and a removable rear cover. Decals for the famous Martini Racing team livery are included.
The Lancia Delta S4 was one of the peaks of the Group B era. It combined a supercharger with a turbocharger (twin-charging) and four-wheel drive, which gave it extraordinary acceleration on the most varied surfaces. With its tubular frame and plastic body panels, the car was the technical pinnacle of its day and, despite a short career, became one of the most memorable rally legends. The model reproduces its outing at Monte Carlo in 1986.
Glue the plastic parts with a thin modeling cement for plastic; treat the bodyshell with primer before painting. Spray the paint with an airbrush in thin coats and lay the extensive sponsor livery (the decals) onto a smooth gloss base, or else overcoat it with varnish. Paint and assemble the engine, the suspension and the interior with its roll cage before closing the bodyshell up; thanks to the removable panels the mechanicals can be displayed. Glue the chromed and clear parts (the glazing) last.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
