An injection-molded plastic kit of the four-door Audi 90 quattro 20V sedan in 1:24 scale from the Japanese maker Fujimi. The model comes from the Real Sports Car range (item RS-7) and captures the elegant body of the sedan faithfully. According to the manufacturer the box contains parts in white and clear plastic, chrome-plated and silver elements and a sheet of decals.
The Audi 90 was an upper mid-size sedan from Audi at the turn of the 1980s and 1990s, derived from the 80 model. The 20V version was powered by a five-cylinder engine with twenty valves and, combined with the quattro all-wheel drive, it offered a brisk and sure-footed character in any weather. The quattro drive became one of the main identifying features of the Audi marque.
Use thin cement for plastic and build in subassemblies. Finish and paint the interior before the body is closed up. Spray the body with an airbrush over a primer and seal it with a gloss clear coat, polished for the effect of a road car finish. Glue the chrome and silver parts and the glazing with a cement for clear plastic.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
