The set brings four-point racing seat belts in a blue finish for car models in 1:24 scale. It is an aftermarket detail accessory in etched metal, pre-painted straight from the factory, so it needs no priming coat. It does not contain a car model; it serves to fit out the cockpit realistically.
Four-point sports belts of this kind are used in racing and fast road cars, where they restrain the driver across both shoulders and the hips. Faithfully rendered belts with buckles are among the details that liven up the interior of a car model most and give it a racing character.
Separate the etched belts carefully from the fret and shape them with tweezers so that they drape naturally over the seat. Bond them with a tiny drop of super glue (cyanoacrylate) or with glue for photo-etched parts. The pre-painted surface needs at most a gentle pick-out, and the buckles can be fine-tuned with a silver paint.
This is a detail set, not a complete model. The car model itself, the glue and the paints are not included in the package.
