An injection-molded plastic kit in 1:24 scale from the Japanese maker Fujimi. The set captures the racing version of the KPGC10 coupe, popularly called Hakosuka, in the form tied to a run of victories in the home championship. The parts are partly separated by color, and the set includes a decal sheet with sponsor logos and race numbers as well as a fabric part for a faithful rendition of the seat belts.
The Skyline GT-R of the KPGC10 generation is one of the most iconic Japanese cars of the turn of the 1960s and 1970s. It earned the nickname Hakosuka thanks to its angular, boxy body. It was powered by a strong inline six and it gathered a famous run of victories in circuit racing, which made it a legend of Japanese motorsport.
Use liquid cement for plastic and leave the glazing and the chrome parts until the end. Give the body a coat of gloss before you apply the decals, and once they are on we recommend a sealing clear coat. The detail of the engine and the interior stands out when you use washes and an airbrush.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
