A plastic kit of a Japanese luxury coupe, carried under the type code MZ21 and the year 1988. The 1:24 scale is among the most widespread with road cars, so the finished model will fit in among the other cars in a cabinet without a distracting difference of sizes.
The Soarer of the Z20 series was produced from the middle of the 1980s and on the home market it represented the top of the range among passenger cars. The version with the 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine stood at the peak of the model line. The combination of a roomy cabin, a calm manner on the highway and electronics advanced for the time made it one of the symbols of the Japanese automotive blossoming at the end of the decade.
The smooth body of a coupe forgives nothing, so it pays off to remove the mold seams and sand the surface down still before a filler primer is applied. Apply the paint in thin layers and let it harden properly; only then does polishing come in turn. The chrome trim strips around the windows stand out when you separate them with a thin brush or with masking tape cut into a narrow strip.
The set comes as a collection of unpainted plastic parts for assembly; paints, glue and tools have to be obtained separately.
