This set from the maker Red Fox Studio brings American state license plates for models of passenger cars in 1:24 scale. The plates have a raised, three-dimensional surface with a self-adhesive layer, so they read more faithfully than flat print. It is not a kit but a finished detail accessory with which you dress up a car model.
Take the plate out carefully, peel the cover film off and press it onto the appropriate place on the model. For a firmer bond a drop of cyanoacrylate glue can be added. The three-dimensional surface takes fine weathering with oil as well as acrylic paints, thanks to which the plate gains a realistically worn look.
This is a decorative accessory, not a complete model. The base kit and paints are not included in the package.
