Wheels give a car its face more than any other detail. The set offers a complete foursome of elements, that is the wheels along with the tires in 1:24 scale, and replaces the wheels supplied in a kit. The pattern of the wheel carries the designation Work Equip 14 in the name, which is the name of a particular type of styled wheel. The set suits everywhere a model is to get a different look than the box offers, or where the original wheels are simplified in shape.
New wheels are not universal. Before you start gluing, try dry whether the hub sits on the axle pin and whether the wheel does not rub against the wheel arch or the inner side of the fender. Sometimes it is enough to shorten the pin or to drill the hub out slightly. Watch the height of the car above the road as well: a larger diameter of wheel lifts the model, a smaller one sets it lower. The flattening of the tire at the contact patch, if it is formed on the part, has to point to the ground.
Wash and degrease the parts before painting, otherwise the paint will hold badly on the smooth surface. For gluing parts that are not from polystyrene, reach for cyanoacrylate glue. Cut excess material off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the rest down. A wheel stands out when the face is left glossy and the recesses are brought up with a darker color.
