An injection-molded plastic kit of the British aircraft carrier HMS Victorious 1941 in 1:700 scale from Flyhawk.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the British aircraft carrier HMS Victorious as she was in 1941, in 1:700 scale from Flyhawk. Flyhawk models rank among the most detailed on the market - fine moldings, a great many small parts and a faithfully rendered deck and superstructure. Because of the high level of detail and the number of filigree parts, the kit is meant rather for more experienced ship modelers.
HMS Victorious was a British aircraft carrier of the Illustrious class with an armored flight deck, brought into service at the beginning of the Second World War. In 1941 she already wrote herself into history when her Swordfish torpedo bombers took part in the pursuit of the German battleship Bismarck. The armored deck made ships of this class remarkably resistant to air attack, and Victorious served in the Atlantic, in the Mediterranean and in the Pacific.
The hull can be built full or in the waterline version on a stand. Work with liquid cement for plastic and cut the fine parts away carefully with a sharp knife. Lay down a primer and spray the colors with an airbrush; the intricate superstructure and the deck come out well with gentle edge highlighting and restrained weathering. Bond the railings and the small accessories with super glue.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
