This is not an aircraft model but a replacement cockpit glazing in 1:72 scale. The vacuum-formed part of thin transparent film has finer frames and cleaner optics than ordinary injected glazing, so you can really see into the cockpit. The entry in the name says that the set covers both positions of the canopy, closed and slid back, so the modeler can choose whether to show the cockpit open on the finished model.
The Avia S-199 is a postwar Czechoslovak fighter that came about by joining the airframe of the Messerschmitt Bf 109G with a Junkers Jumo 211F piston engine and a massive propeller. The combination, for which the airframe was not originally built, earned the aircraft the nickname Mezek, meaning mule, and a reputation as a machine that was not easy to handle, mainly on takeoff and landing. Besides the Czechoslovak Air Force, the S-199 also served with the Israeli Air Force in 1948. The version with the bubble canopy gave the pilot a substantially better view to the rear than the older framed cockpit.
The part is separated from the carrier film around its edge, the edges are trued flat and the canopy is seated into the cutout on the fuselage. The frames are masked and painted to match the surroundings. Protect the transparent areas from fingerprints and from solvents, and for clear parts use a glue that does not fog the surface.
