Dipping ink 17 ml Zombie Dip (Green Stuff World)

A semi-transparent acrylic ink from the Dipping ink range in a package with a volume of 17 milliliters. It is applied over a light base and in one step creates both color and shadow: the pigment runs down into the recesses and folds, and only a thin film stays on the raised areas. Several steps of classic shading thus become a single stroke of the brush, which pays off above all with larger groups of figures.

An unhealthy green shade

A green-gray tone with a sickly cast, designed for the undead and mutated characters. Over a white base it gives skin an unhealthy color, in the folds it saturates to a dark green and so picks out sunken cheeks, ribs and fingers by itself. It does not suit ordinary human skin, while for fantasy subjects it is one of the most striking shades of the range.

Use

• Applied over a white or light base, as the shade will not come through otherwise
• Load the brush fully and draw off the excess so that no pools form
• Let the ink run into the recesses by itself; do not push it there with the brush
• On the face and hands one coat is enough, as a further application only darkens the tone needlessly
• Thinned with water the ink becomes a finer shading glaze

Safety note

Work in a well-ventilated room, especially when spraying with an airbrush. Avoid contact with the eyes and the skin, keep it out of the reach of children and close the bottle carefully after use. Dried ink is hard to remove from textiles, so protect your clothing and your work surface.
