A large-scale plastic model of the Mk.12 Mod 0/1 SPR variant of a rifle from the AR-15/M16/M4 weapon family in 1:3 scale from the manufacturer Trumpeter. It is a static kit model in injection-molded plastic, not a working weapon. The model faithfully captures the shape of the real rifle and is usually supplied with a stand and illustrated instructions.
The Mk.12 SPR (Special Purpose Rifle) is a precision rifle derived from the M16/M4 design, intended for accurate shooting at medium ranges. It is marked by a longer, heavier barrel and a wide system for attaching optics and accessories. The designations Mod 0 and Mod 1 distinguish the variants of the configuration. The large 1:3 scale makes it possible to show the barrel, the rails and the sights in detail.
Glue the parts with cement for plastic and clean up the mold seams carefully, as they are pronounced in a large scale. You will paint the metal surfaces with an airbrush in shades of gunmetal and black, and the matte parts of the weapon stand out in dark matte shades. Bring out the edges with a dry brush and display the finished model on the enclosed stand.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. It is not a working weapon. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
