The set from the Czech manufacturer Firma49 contains 3D-printed resin drums of 200 liters in 1:48 scale. These classic steel drums for fuels and oils are usually offered as a mix of intact and damaged pieces with separate lids. It is not a kit but a scenic accessory for vehicles, aircraft and dioramas.
The drums fill the cargo bed of vehicles, serve as fuel stocks at field depots or as worn-out material in ruins and trenches. A mix of intact and dented pieces gives a scene an inhabited look.
Wash the uncured print resin residue off the parts, cut off the supports and clean up the bases. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). You get a metal look with a dark base, rust from pigments and traces of spilled fuel around the caps.
The set contains resin accessories only. The paints and the glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
