Photo-etched steel seatbelts 1:32 A6M5 Zero from the manufacturer Eduard. Color-printed photo-etched steel belts for a faithful finish of the pilot's seat of the Japanese fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of color-printed photo-etched steel seatbelts in 1:32 scale for a model of the Japanese A6M5 Zero fighter. It is an aftermarket accessory from the manufacturer Eduard, not a kit. Steel photo-etch holds its shape and its bends better than softer variants, so the belts look realistic and are easy to shape over the edges of the seat and in the cockpit.
The Mitsubishi A6M5 Zero was the most widespread variant of the legendary carrier fighter of the Imperial Japanese Navy in the Second World War. It was distinguished by its long range and agility; the A6M5 version brought a strengthened structure and modifications to the powerplant. Finely worked belts in the pilot's space raise the look of an open cockpit markedly.
The individual belts are cut out, shaped carefully and glued on with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The color printing is not covered over with opaque paint; any evening out can be done with a fine pigment or a wash.
An accessory for more advanced modelers. The kit and paints are not included in the package.
