The resin accessory propeller with a jig for the Arado Ar 196 from the Czech brand Quickboost in 1:32 scale — a part, not a model kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin accessory from Quickboost in 1:32 scale offers a faithfully cast propeller for a model of the German Arado Ar 196 floatplane. It is not an airplane kit, but a replacement part: the set holds the propeller blades, the hub and a small jig (template) that helps set the correct angle and length of the blades as they are glued into the hub.
The Arado Ar 196 was a German catapult-launched reconnaissance seaplane of the Second World War, powered by a radial engine with a three-blade propeller. A faithful propeller with crisp blades and a finely rendered hub is one of the striking elements of the front of a model. The jig supplied makes it easier to assemble the propeller so that all the blades have the same, correct angle.
Wash the resin parts in lukewarm soapy water because of the mold release agent. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw or a cutter, sand the surfaces and protect your breathing when sanding resin. Set the blades into the hub using the jig supplied and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Apply a primer before painting so that the color holds.
It is supplied as a resin accessory for experienced modelers, not as a stand-alone kit. Paints, glue and the base model are not included in the package.
