This is an accessory set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard, not a complete airplane model. It holds the complete right outer engine of the B-17G Flying Fortress bomber in 1:32 scale, cast in resin and completed with photo-etched parts.
The set brings a richly rendered radial engine with its cowling and cooling flaps. The cowling can be built closed or opened up for a view of the engine - ideal for displaying one nacelle with the service panel open. The detail markedly surpasses the plastic parts of the kit.
Wash the mold release residue off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and clean them up; bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Spray the engine in subassemblies so that the detail deep inside stays accessible; bring the lines and wiring to life with a fine brush and gentle washable accenting.
This is an accessory resin set with photo-etched parts, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
