This resin set renders the wheel bays of the British Lightning fighter aircraft in the F.1, F.3 and F.6 versions in 1:32 scale in detail. It is not a stand-alone model but an accessory replacing the simplified bays from a plastic kit with a more faithful rendering of the structure, the runs and the stiffeners.
The Lightning was a British supersonic interceptor of the Cold War with performance allowing speeds beyond twice the speed of sound. The F.1, F.3 and F.6 versions represent the successive interceptor variants of this line.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The wheel bays are as a rule set in before closing the lower part of the fuselage and the wings, so build and paint them in advance. Wear respiratory protection while sanding.
This is a resin accessory for a kit, not an aircraft model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
